Does anybody know what this espresso maker is?

Does anybody know what these are? Are these tops to an espresso maker and the bottom is missing or can I put these on a stove or fire? Took apart pieces to photograph it, don't know what this is, the picture on the left is the bottom.

Not an espresso maker... looks like the single-serve thing used in Vietnamese restaurants.

It doesn't look like something that can be used on a stove top. It looks more like some sort of pour-over coffee maker.
