Double Syrup Vanilla @ Starbucks

Has anyone ever tried a double-syrup vanilla at starbucks? I still find myself adding sugar with their vanilla dosage on the TALL size. Just wondering if it'll be too sweet or intoxicating of sort if you double the syrup.
