I saw an insurance report once. Some teenager drove his Dad's Buick through a kiosk. There was a large impact. Snarled traffic for hours at the strip mall.
When the city permitted the building our "hut" is in they required the construction to be able to handle the impact of a large truck at 35 MPH....I feel like its fort knox some times....lots of cement, rebar, etc covered by a little stuco....but the way people drive through the strip center \ parking lot I'm in....I'm kind of glad
Sorry, I wasn't clear. I need to persuade strip mall owner to let me build a kiosk on his parking lot. Usually drive-thru kiosks attract more customers to the mall itself. I heard that some studies were conducted in Seattle, which reported 18-25% increase in mall foot traffic within 5 months after opening a drive-thru adjucent to the mall, but I've never seen the report itself. I need some official numbers to throw into my proposal
Any information or references will be GREATLY appreciated.
