Hi everyone, I’m a home roaster new to the forum. I built an app called Roastit for iOS and Android. I would love to get honest feedback from people who roast their own coffee.
What it does:
App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/roastit-coffee-roasting/id6785604427
Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.arpine.roastit
Happy to answer questions, and thanks for reading.
What it does:
- Set up a roast with your bean info, roast level, batch weight and target time
- A live roast timer with drying, Maillard and development phases, plus first and second crack markers and alerts
- Heat and fan guidance per phase for Fresh Roast SR540/SR800, and a simple heat guide for other roasters
- Saves every batch with notes and photos, so you can look back and re-roast it
- Brew suggestions and post-roast resting tips based on the bean process and roast level
- What do you log for each batch that I’m missing?
- If you use a Fresh Roast, do the phase timings and settings feel right to you?
- What would make you actually use something like this?
- Any other feedback that comes to mind.
