Hi All,
We've connected the Rex Royal S2 Machine to the water supply as depicted.
connected to mains.webp

However, the machine is saying to fill up the water container (image attached)

Please may I ask why this could be happening and what we could potentially try to fix it?
This is the inside, behind the front panel attached.

I've asked to put the water hose into a water container/cup to see if it will pull water in but I doubt this will work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Best,
CMM

Not sure what is going on, so try this, turn off the main power to the machine and wait one minute, then switch it back on.

If nothing happens, fill the tank with water and see if the machine will then automatically fill the tank as the water gets used.

Does the unit itself have any water valves, if so make sure they are in the on position.

I'm obviously guessing here, but try that stuff and see what happens.

Hi Froze, I don't think there is a water tank, as it's connected to the mains, I imagine it wouldn't need one... online there are some models that have water tanks but they are optional:

I can't see this for the machine we have

That's odd to say the least. I would contact the dealer or manufacturer, it's looking for the optional tank that you don't have.

Did you try powering if off for a minute?, if so try again except this next time unplug it for a minute.

I'm not familiar with this specific model, does it have a user interface where you can change it's settings from "water container" present or not present?

If not I'd say you need to trick it into thinking the container is full. Look for a float switch, level probe or possibly the bottom plate where the tank would sit has a pressure sensor that detects the weight of a full container.

I looked up the user manual and the only water tank it shows is for mobile use - if you wanted to set the machine up somewhere for an event and there isn't a nearby water connection. Maybe there's an option in the menu for mobile vs fixed operation?
