I am trying to replace a group gasket on my Gaggia Classic machine. The company I got the gasket from sent me the wrong kind. They sent me one for a Silivia brew group. Does anyone know if this will work. It's only a $12 part, but it's a week in shipping. Any help or suggestions would be great.

I'm not sure of the exact dimensions of the Silvia gasket, but since both machines utilize 58mm groups it might work fine. Try it before sending it back. Once you pull the old gasket out be sure to clean the channel out very good before putting the new one back in. The new gasket will be tight for a bit, but will wear in soon. Later!
