Hi!

I am a coffeeholic. After experimenting on differrent coffee flavors and selling some in internet shops and bazarrs. I want to do my own latte art. How do I start?

a. I collected several latte art from the internet but I am having a hard-time copying them.
b. What are the things I need to do it? Do I need a special utensil to make my drawings look better?
c. Or I just need to be a good artist (which I am not :) )
d. Plus! My frothed milk is kinna thin; how will I make them thicker?
e. By the way, I want to use skim milk; will it have an effect in my latte art?

Thanks :)

All it takes to get decent with latte art is 20+ gallons of milk, and practice practice practice.

First get your foam to where there isn't too much of it, but what you do have is a nice and silky microfoam.

You'll have to make sure your getting a good crema from your shots, then gently shake the milk into your shot to get a picture going. There are alot of more in depth tutorials, but that's a breif overviews.

And I've done latte art with skim, hearts are especially easy with it.
