I WANT TO OPEN AN ESPRESSO BIZ, ADVICE NEEDED!

Hi,

Looking for knowledgeable advice.

For someone who is not knowledgeable enough to open a coffee/espresso hut, but wants to in the next 5 years, would be wise to start with espresso concession as a hobby and do show event, fairs, etc. to learn more of the ropes of the business?

I understand there is more to it than that, but thats why I am setting a goal to opening my own hut in the next 5 years.

If you agree that it is wise to start with a concession, could you give me advice about converting old trailers, or buy right out, or taking over someone else''s? Where do I start. etc?

Any help any advice, please This is something I want so much even if I need to start small.

Join the SCAA, http://www.scaa.org attend the conference in May, attend a couple of CoffeeFest, http://coffeefest.com/ be sure to take advantage of the available classes.
Read. Visit many good coffeeshops. Study.
Make certain you understand all aspects on the business end as well.
Stay away from any franchise.
