Information Please: Diedrich IR-5 vs Mill City 3kg

Looking to get a 3-5kg roaster and wanted to get some feedback on what good options there are out there. I've been looking at these two and would love to hear what you guys think about them pros vs cons.

I have that one and it's doing a great job.

I have no experience with either machine but the tried and true machine is the Diedrich. So many variables come into play picking a machine, experience, willingness to work on, etc. New/used. Overall I would probably pick a Diedrich, they have been around for a long time and are solid machines. They have different burner technology (infrared) which people have preferences on. Probably higher priced than the Mill City. Also it depends on your goals, volume, situation.

Diedrich all the way. Mill City roasters are problematic and not nearly as reliable.
