So my toy came in. I was a bit skeptical when I first saw this on youtube. I ordered it off amazon and was told it would be up to 45 days for delivery. I got it in about a week. This is my new favorite toy! I have only done 3 batches and the most I have done is 3 ounces. I am going to experiment with bigger batches later this week. The small ones came out PERFECT. Here are some pics...

Congratulations! Thanks for the pics. Keep us updated.
Now you will be traveling from roastery to roastery.
A man who takes his work home!

Where are you doing the roasting? The picture in the center looks like it's outside on a porch.

How does that thing work? Where do the ooasted beans come out?

It was over the weekend on my porch.. beautiful southh Florida weather. sae I will post a video soon. The beans come out the front. You pull the temp.gauge out and dump it.

. . . and I thought a 60kg roaster would have been enough for anyone! ;-)

Topher are going to use that as a sample roaster or something to just play around with?

A bit of both

So I finally got to play with my roaster. Here is a quick video and some pictures...I love this roaster. The only draw back is that the frame gets hot...real hot. The 4th picture is the first batch I did. I wasn't happy with it but it was my first batch. The last picture is the first and second batch..left was the second batch. The coffee came out so even! Can't wait to taste these!

I forgot to include a picture of my home made cooling bin. 10306226_10152682994984435_8312091683495557712_n.webp Works like a charm. I roasted 5 oz of Guatemalan and it cooled in a few seconds.

Cooking bin is classic! Glad to see that it worked out

Did this come with 220v Korean plug or did it come with 110v US plug? If korean, how did you work around that?

Thanks. Looks like a nice little roaster.
