Miss Silvia spits from portafilter when surfing

I normally get great results from my Rocky & Silvia combo but during temp. surfing and preheating of the portafilter she sometimes spits water through the two spouts on the portafilter causing an inconvienient mess. Does anyone know why this happens and how to stop or control it. Not a big deal but a pain in the butt :?

Sounds like your 3 way solenoid valve might be failing. The valve body runs about $45, try replacing it and see what happens.
