Newbie..? about flavored syrups

Hi

I love lattes and mochas, so I ordered an espresso machine online a few days ago. A few days ago I went to Wal Mart and decided to check out if they had any syurps.........they had several sugar-free and one "regular." I debated whether or not to get the sugar- free ones, but I did anyway.

My question is, are sugar -free syrups less "tasty"? I have a feeling I shouldn't have bought them!!

personally I am not a fan of sugar free syrups...they taste chemically. I drink diet cola cuz I am fat and need to lose weight...but can't stand the flavor.(well used to be fat..lost 25 lbs! wohoo down to 170..only 10 more pounds to go) :grin: Go to your local coffee shop they should have syrups for sale. You should be able to find it in the grocery stores also :wink:

I agree, sugar free syrups taste really BAD, its' a waste of coffee. I tried a sugar free vanilla syrup and it tasted like diet pepsi. BUT, if you've been drinking sugar free stuff all your life then you might already be use to the taste.

The splenda made ones aren't that bad

of course its not going to be as good as sugar, but its a lot healthier.
