Hello,
I am considering processing washed Wellega (Illubabor, Western Ethiopia) grades 2 and 4 for sale in the U.S. I believe I can ensure consistent, high quality. I also plan to pay farmers above market-price for cherry, return 10% of U.S.-side profits, and provide \"back-story\" on origin, farmers, etc.
Given the above considerations, what price ($/lb) can I reasonably expect a speciality roaster to pay for 2 containers (~80,000 lbs)?
Thanks very much.
