Question about Blue Mountain coffee

Newbie here and was wondering if Blue Mountain coffee from Jamaica is worth the price and were is the best place to buy the certified grade #1 beans. I drank some Blue Mountain when I was down there and really like the taste. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

What a question! JMB has quite a reputation and is a great bean. Supply has been halted over the past 6 months or so but seems to be filtering back into the US in recent weeks. If you are really interested in tasting these beans then go ahead and order a pound and see for yourself. I wouldn't ever buy these beans for retail, they are just too expensive. I have tasted some Puerto Ricans that seem just as good for about 1/3 - 1/2 the price and yet I always seem to fall back on a Costa Rican bean to make my taste buds and wallet happy. My recommendation, try it and then compare it to the above mentioned beans. Just make sure it is freshly roasted!
