Roasting Help Please: A very, very dark roast - electricity outage while roasting

Severuss, Actually we are talking about black outs or brown outs. Where everyone around you loses power. It can be super scary if you have coffee in the roaster and the power goes out. If the power does not come back on you need to get the coffee out of the drum before it catches on fire. This is hard to do if you have a larger roaster seeing that electricity is what moves the drum.

Can this happen with an electric home roaster machine? If you're roasting with one of those machines and the power goes out, will the beans catch on fire?

Lol. The nice thing about home roasters is you can pick them up and turn them over...dump the beans out before they can catch on fire.
