Hi,
I have a saeco royal professional, actually i have 3 of them and am very happy with the machine. I did something so stupid today, in my noncafine morning stupor, the machine needed water and i pored water in where the beans go... I took the plastic thing off that holds the beans and removed all the wet beans. I live in costa rica and panama, this machine is in panama and there is really no service that i can find here, i bought the machine off amazon. My question is 1.) will the grinder dry out by it itself and 2.) if not can someone point me to a link that has instructions on how to take the grinder mechanism out and dry it and reassemble the machine.

Thanks in Advance,
brian

Hello "phoneguy"

Welcome to the Coffee Forum website.

You're not an idiot....just a sleepy head! I'm sure we've all had close calls and near accidents with our coffee makers at one time or another.

I did a quick search and found a link to some instructions for taking the grinder apart and cleaning it. I hope it helps.

This is where I found the link to the Grinder page:

Cleaning is definelty the first thing you should try, but sometimes the burrs rust, and you will need to replace them. If this is the case we stock the burrs at all times.
Grinder Burrs, Conical.. We are an authorized service center, and all of our parts are OEM from Saeco.
