The demand for specialty coffee is expected to maintain its 10 percent growth rate this year, mainly fueled by the growing asian market demand for specialty coffees.

Thanks for the article Rowley...I had not noticed the increasing demand here.....honest :shock: ! Ted Lingle could have added a section re the rest of Asia...but I am glad he did not. If you include the growing markets in India, Indonesia, China, Vietnam, Malaysia and Thailand...you have an emerging market of 2.+ billion people. Sure the middle class in most of these countries is small...but just think 1% of 2 billion is quite a few budding specialty coffee drinkers
