Starbucks wages UK

They start on minimum wage £5.05ph and it is a slow road to get pay rises to much above £6. Even shift supervisors are only on mid sixes. But paying more doesn't mean you'll get better people - offer better working conditions and treat your staff with more respect than Starbucks etc. (not difficult to do!) and they'll reward you with their loyalty! Good luck with the business - how are you going to differentiate yourself from Starbucks?

purely mobile for now, operating from vans around cities. I also intend to sell fairtrade, organic and healthy products (along the innocent line).

There are a few negatives for staff, mainly weather conditions. But I will compensate with a higher starting wage.
