Hi. New member here, looking forward to tapping into the knowledge base.
I make coffee in Braun drip machine, then transfer the coffee into a thermal pticher (Zojirushi) that I've preheated with boiling water. Then I pour coffee out in small doses. The pitcher generally does an OK job, but here's the weird thing: an occasional dose of coffee is lukewarm. But then the next one is hot. IOW, a lukewarm pour occurring between 2 hot pours. This doesn't seem to me something permitted by physics. Can anyone explain how this could happen? thanks all.
