USed equipment?

Hi my jhusband and I are going to get an espresso maker soon. I have been looking at some stores. I noticed some used equpment at coffeestuffstore.com

Is used stuff good? it has warantys. I figure i can save maybe $100 or so and get coffe. I am considering a different brand than tehy sell used, but used seems likea pretty good price.
