We are honored to receive TWO Best of State awards this year! (Siphon Coffee and Roasted Single Origin Coffee.)

There are a lot of hands that help along the way to make our coffee what it is, but in the end, it's our responsibility to treat the product with the respect that it deserves.

Congratulations John. I think if I ever open a coffee house I'll open one in Salt Lake City. That way if I never win one of these awards, at least it'll be because I got my butt kicked by one of the best....if that makes any sense lol!

Outside of the fact "if you don't promote yourself, no one will," I believe it's important for small shop owners to realize that they CAN have an impact, locally, regionally and nationally.
One should always believe, "I CAN do this," rather than feel trapped by preconceived notions based on locale or what others are or are not doing.

It's up to you to create your own path, and get others to follow.
