Does anyone wash green coffee before roasting it at home?

Up until now I have been roasting it right out of the bag after purchasing it online. I have been reading a little about wet and dry processing and been wondering if green coffee processed in so many different places and by different methods would need to be washed and re-dried before roasting?

It is an extra step and I think it effects how the coffee roasts, so I would rather not worry about it, but wanted to get other opinions.

Thanks

 Dont wash the coffee. What you read about wet or dry pr. it is other thing, at home you dont need to wash your beans. KEEP them away from water. with washing you can destroy them. If you wash and keep the beans for two-three days you can see what will happen to them.
