water filters

Hi guys, would anyone be able to advise on a water filter system for a mobile coffee unit? Variable water softness in different pitches...but want to maintain a consistant quality espresso pull. currently looking at the h2o direct sp520 and the european water care ix filter over a brita. Machine is a fracino contempo2e dual fuel with a flojet 4003 pump. Any advice appreciated!
