I like plain scones, or sometimes chocolate chip scones with my coffee. Also, Everything bagels go well with coffee, as long as the cream cheese is not fruity or anything. Just plain, or onion and chive cream cheese.

The idea to eat smth with good coffee seems to me rather strange. I can't imagine that I add any taste to the taste of coffee. I drink Javaberry now and its taste is so individual and has such subtle shades that I never use milk or sugar not to mention any food.

You are only toying with your senses, unless it is a slice of New York cheesecake. They both have counterpunches in the opposite direction, and it accentuates all that is good in the coffee.
