What shops are paying for roasted beans

Before I roasted I was paying $8.65+ plus shipping per pound for my espresso four to five years ago.

I charge $11.25 to $12.50 per pound for most coffees wholesale. Any CoE lots or similar would be more.
If someone does substantial volume, there can be a little better rate. (little) 8)

If you are conroling your costs, you need to figure out what the product cost and add accordingly. My aploygies as the formula is x3.33%. Buy for 5$ sell for $16.65. If you want to have a discount for volume Free shipping does wonders.

The question was about what shops are paying for roasted beans. I doubt you are paying $5.00 per pound for your green. With regards to retail pricing, Tophie2's comment is a good rule of thumb. :)
