worst tasting coffee

New to the forums.

I have a Bunn Velocity Brew coffee machine and the coffee is nasty. I'm currently using Starbucks coffee (ground at the store) I'm in the process pf purchasing a grinder and finding a local roaster/shop to purchase coffee. Any tips on how to get a decent cup of coffee out of this machine? Any advice on a grinder?

Baratza Encore should be your first thought as to the grinder.

Until you have a grinder and some coffee you know is good, you won't know whether or not the Bunn is doing its job - it may be working just fine already.
