14g(double shot) Portafilter adapter? do they make one?

Hello everyone... I have a Hamilton Beach espresso machine... not a high end but tasty anyway.

The problem is I want to use double shot filters in it. The pod portafilter will only fit a single shot.

There doesnt appear to be any reason that a larger portafilter can't be put in as there is plenty of room for a deeper filter.

Any ideas on who would make a replacement portafilter that would accomodate a double shot pod for my Hamilton Beach machine?

Have you tried to contact the manufacturer? They will likely tell you it is not advisable, but you can try to use the double shot basket with it.
