4 cup coffeemaker...

I am looking for a small coffeemaker for college... Right now I am trying to decide between the Starbucks Quattro and the Cuisinart 4-cup coffeemaker with stainless steel carafe. Not sure which to choose, and cannot find any information on whether Cuisinart makes decent machines. The only Quattro i am able to find is on Ebay and i am not totally thrilled about buying from then but will andhave in the past if i have to.

Any other suggestions anyone can give me?

Hey biggie,

When I was at college (graduated last May), I had a Krups 4 cup with glass carafe. It did me well. I also bought a Black and Decker Travel Mug dispenser.

I like it but for this: the way that the filter and water holes are made, the grounds wind up going OVER into the resivoir. Makes for an ugly mess.

I wouldn't go for anything big, as you may not have enough time to enjoy it all.

Have fun at college, if you study enough and take your breaks at the right times, you will have a BLAST :grin: :-D
