Anyone with a Gevalia pod brewer...

Hi everyone,

I have the Gevalia pod brewer, specifically this one. I cannot find the manual for it, no one with Gevalia customer service knows how to do the initial setup, and their website does not explain it anywhere.

I don't want to wait for a new manual to come in the mail, all I want to do is the initial setup. If anyone has this pod brewer and the manual, I'd really appreciate you sharing the initial setup procedure. :grin:

I bought a Gevalia pod-brewer that wouldn't work out of the box, nada! I called them up about it and they couldn't help me on the phone. I demanded they not only take it back but reimburse me the $17 shipping as well. (That part took some phone calls to my credit card company but I got the money back.)

I have a Bunn My Cafe, very expensive at first blush, but it WORKS GOOD, does not smell like cheap plastic (I really, really smelled the fumes out of the Gevalia even with no water heating happening!) and I could never want a different coffee brewer than this one.

I hope you got your satisfaction from Gevalia. (Oh, I didn't get my Gevalia as a freebie for buying their coffee; I just purchsed it; so that is why getting a refund was mandatory and do-able for me.)
