Hello,
I tried something called boun or bun the other day, made by some Yemeni Arabs. It was different from any coffee I've had before; instead of a buzz, it provided a steady, low-level energy that kept me going all day. Is this related to light roasts? I usually stick to dark roast espresso, and this experience was completely unique.
I'm thinking about buying some beans and wondered if this consistent, low-energy boost is typical of all light roasts, or is it specific to robusta light roasts? Or is this Arabic bun something entirely different?
