Does anyone know if there is a laptop brand that works better than others for loading the phidget drivers and Artisan software? Also, has anyone been successful using a Chromebook for datalogging with Artisan? I’m getting ready to install a recently purchased duel-lead themocouple and phidget on my 3k USRC and just began the hunt for a laptop.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Artisan software on Windows works fine for us 3 yrs nearly. I grabbed a Costco laptop, ASUS brand, less than $500.

We use data logging for 1k MCR Roaster (samples) and IR12 for production, same laptop and software.

ALL the best,

Thanks for the feedback, I haven’t heard of that brand but will def look into it. I did learn that until Artisan comes out with an app the Chromebooks won’t load the software for security reasons. Again, thanks for the response!

Do you happen to know the specs on the ASUS laptop, like memory and hardrive?
Thanks

I run on artisian on a loaded macbook and the cheapest Dell laptop I could find at Bestbuy (backup) ... both work great.
