Average owner's cost per espresso based drink.

Hey everybody!!

I want to know what it costs you as the owner to make an typical espresso based drink in a typical drive thru coffe stand.

If the average sale is conservatively $3.25 would it make sense that it would cost $2.18 to make the drink? That's based on 33% profit (is that 33% profit margin realistic by the way?)

Any input would be great!!!

Drink Cost

Your drink cost should never be more than 35%. That is the cost of all ingredients, not labor and overhead. Anything higher and you will have a hard time ever making a profit.
