I have been buying caffe mochas from a local coffe shop for a couple months now. They are similar to the ones starbucks makes. However, they get expensive after awhile so I bought an espresso machine to try to make them myself. I bought this espresso machine:

I don''t really know what I''m doing so I''ve been trying to follow these articles on ehow and also have referenced many other random websites.

They all say very different things about how to make a caffe mocha. Some of them say the same amount of espresso to milk, and some say you need a lot more steamed milk than espresso. Some say make t he espresso first, and others say steam the milk first. Also some have different orders on putting the ingredients into the final cup.
Here are the ingredients I''ve been using:
Folgers Ground Coffee Espresso Roast (Dark Roast)
Genuine Chocolate Flavor Hershey''s Syrup (Just regular hershey''s syrup that you would use for ice cream)
2% Milk
I don''t have a grinder, which is why I''m using the pre-ground espresso.
I like it how my local coffee shop makes it. I don''t like the taste of straight coffee at all, but I like being able to taste the espresso to a certain point in the mocha. Some of my attempts have tasted way too much like plain coffee, and others have tasted like hot chocolate. I''m not really sure what ratio of each ingredient I''ve been using, or if I''ve been using the right ingredients.
Any tips at all are greatly appreciated : )
