I am a seller seeking to purchase coffee beans for $0.50 a pound. I would like to know the quality. It doesn't matter if quality is good or low, I can still move it. I am open to Asia and Indonesia as well as Central America, Africa, etc. I would like to have a repeat business relationship.

I'm getting the impression from reading this and some of your previous posts that you're looking to roast and sell cheap coffee, and the quality doesn't matter. Am I right?

Note to self: Don't buy coffee from paypalboutique.

I guess he wants the coffee farmer to not only have zero profit, but lose money and go out of business.

today the price on the market is $1.40, selling directly to the colombian coffe federation. so what are you buying.

Closeout and excess coffees sell from South America for about $0.58 to $0.88 a pound FOB but it not even folgers level of coffee. Even they reject this product but you can roast the beans grind it and sell it as cheap cop coffee. Lol.

You can brew a cup but who knows how long the beans have been sitting and no freshness is promised or even a concern on this product. But crap is out there!

I'll sell both. There are those that will buy low quality and not care. Some people sell junk, other sell nothing but high quality. I will offer variety both good and low quality.

ppb,

Starbucks is low quality, and even they pay above C market prices in most cases.

Beware of your ethics! Karma is a b!tch. :coffee1:

How will you advertise your low quality beans? "Low grade coffee - sold as is - no refunds"

And as time goes on, I picture you mixing the cheap old beans with the higher quality ones and trying to pass it off as decent coffee.

That's why it's very risky for people to buy coffee on-line, unless they get it from an estabished business that has a good reputation.

I bought some sh!ttyraw Vietnam coffee from eBay and 1/5 was burnt, 1/3 was decent looking and the rest was light brown. I'll rethink my standards.

What goes around comes around. Now you know how your customers would feel after buying some of your low-grade coffee.
