Diedrich 12k Burner Issue

We just started on our IR12 Diedrich Roaster (approximately 10 years old). The first four batches roasted well. In the middle of the 5th batch we started experiencing the following issues:

-The gas pressure would only go to 3, when previously 6 was the max
-The gas pressure would go to 6, but the left side burner would not function
-Sometimes the burner turning off was initiated by the change in air flow, sometimes airflow change would not affect the burner.

If anyone could assist with this problem, I would greatly appreciate it.

Sounds like you need a service technician.

you can call Diedrich Manufacturing. They have some phone tech support to help in troubleshooting.

Infrared burners are a big pain in the ass.
Especially atmospherically aspirated ones.
You need a GOOD tech, one who has experience with this type of burner technology.
Good luck with that, I had to become the tech, for lack of finding someone who wasn't just full of bull*^#@.
