Error with krups XP7225 machine

I bought a krups espresso machine model XP 7225 about 6 month ago as a gift for my brother's wedding. They've been hardly using it for 2 month and now it shows a message on the LCD screen saying ERROR 5. Does anyone know what this error is and how to fix it?

1st thing I'd do is check out the owner's manual to see if there is a toubleshooting section that may help.

2nd thing I'd do would be to contact Krups as I'm sure they, if anybody, should know what any errors are for.

3rd thing I'd do if all else fails... trash the thing and buy a real machine. In the coffee community Krups is commonly called Kraps because most of what they makeis just that. Later!
