I know diddly-squat about coffee, other than the fact that I love a great cup from time to time.

I'm not an addict (don't hate me!) but hey, I do avoid instant coffee like the plague. I have no knowledge to contribute just yet, but hopefully you'll allow me to learn and maybe help my circle of friends...

That's all that matters... that you enjoy great coffee! Not everybody is obsessed to the point of counting each bean to make the next double shot, etc. And I applaud you for not going the instant route...
