Hi all.
I'm roasting on an old 90's IR-12. The gas dial is like a kitchen stove burner type knob, so gas adjustments are not very precise. There's no manometer/gauge to measure the gas output from the gas valve to the burners, so I'd like to install one. I'm looking at a digital manometer but am unsure of the best way to integrate it into the gas line.
It looks like you can screw an adapter into the gas valve and run the tube from the manometer into it to get a reading, but I'm guessing this isn't a good permanent way to do this.
Has anyone installed a digi manometer or magnahelic gauge in an IR roaster before? Should I call an Hvac person?
Thanks
