HELP! Tired of noisy steaming - need ideas!!

I really believe I've suffered some hearig loss due to the excessive noise when steaming milk - anyone else with this issue or anyone with ideas to help.. I have 2 Rancillio machines - a 2 group and a 3 group....any help is appreciated....

Wrap a towel around your pitcher while you are steaming.

When milk is steamed or frothed properly the process should create very little noise. You may be overheating the liquid or pinching the airflow against the side of your stainless steel pitcher.
