I'm interested in opening coffee stand/kiosk inside a hospital. However, when calling the hospital they don't know who I should ask. I spoke to the property manager but they only manage the physician buildings surrounding the hospital.

My questions are:

1. Who did you speak with to open a stand inside the hospital?

2. How did you convince the hospital to allow you to open a place, since the hospital already have a cafeteria?

3. What is the average rent will a hospital charge?

4. Lastly, in your opinion what is the ideal place in a hospital? I was thinking near the cafeteria.

Thank you!

We sold baked goods for awhile at a nearby hospital, no sit down, just take away.

Near the main entrance (main lobby/waiting room). You'll get customers 24/7.

Ask for the hospital's food director and explain your concept & design to him/her.

That's my two cents worth.
