Hello!

My name is Joe, I stumbled on this website after wishing I had someone to discuss coffee with, and then a google search of "Coffee Forum".

I love coffee, normally medium/dark roasts, and I've been using my trusty Bodum french press for the past few years.

I hate gas station coffee, and anything that comes out of a Bunn machine, as it's always burned to holy hell and is at 200 degrees (or so it seems).

The over-heated Bunn coffee and burnt taste is from the hot plate under the carafe and from not cleaning the pot. I have an older model 1A and added an adjustable thermostat. Easy to do. But the Bunn machines are certainly not my favorite brewing method. Not even in the top five.

I am so happy to find other coffee lovers. All this talk of coffee keeps it on my mind and I want more cups of coffee. lol
