Hi there! I'm a barista up in Bozeman, Montana. Our La Marzocco is hissing something fierce. I thought at first it would be the boiler heating up for the morning, but it has continued for three hours. The weather is extremely erratic here an I was wondering if the cool temperature is messing with the boiler. Or is this is because of a leak or a busted boiler. Thanks!

You turn it off everyday?

No, we don't. However, it gets below freezing here during the night. It was the only thing I could think of that would be happening (aside from the blown gasket theory, which is far scarier).

I would assume there's steam escaping somewhere. Better to have it checked out.
Chances are, it won't heal on it's own.

Sounds like you anti depression valve is leaking. Check out cafeparts and look for part 50913
