Lite Caffeine Coffee

Disclaimer: I'm not a roaster nor do I own a roasting company and therefore have no professional knowledge on the subject

I have this idea for a type of roasting style of coffee bean. I call it life caffeine coffee. My idea that you would roast coffee like you to maintain the flavor especially with single origin coffee but extract a small percentage of the caffeine at the end to reduce the amount of caffeine. So think of it like a half caffeine coffee but with more flavor than decafe.

P.S. I though about this after noticing that caffeinated coffee and I don't always get a long. If there are companies that make something like this , please let me know.

Decaffeination occurs prior to roasting at special processing plants... for low caffeine coffee the best is to blend 1/2 decaf & 1/2 caff.

If you do a Google search, you will find places that sell roasted coffee beans that are a blend of regular roasted and decaf beans.

You can find it around... half caf is what a lot of people call it.
