Looking for a good instructional roasting book

I'm aware that roasting is something that should only be taught through hands on experience with a professional, but i'm still looking for some literature to educate myself with!

Are you looking to start out roasting coffee at home?

Home Coffee Roasting by Kenneth Davids has a lot of useful information. It's not an instructional book, though.

Some of our members have recommended other roasting books in the past. If I find those posts, I'll let you know.

I might attrmpt to write that book some day. I have a background in education and really like to write. A bit more fine tuning on my roasting technique I may be in a position to give it a go.

I did learn a lot from the book Rose mentioned above.

I hope "some day" will eventually come, and you'll get around to writing that book.

I'd be one of the first in line to buy it. (I'd probably be buying it on-line and not in line, but I'd still buy it)
