Low cost method for vacuum seal bags?

Hi All -

Im looking to buy a vacuum sealer for under $300 that would work with Zip-Lock Valve bags.

Has anyone used a FoodSaver Vacuum Sealer?

Any suggestions or tips would be very appreciated!

The zip lock brand vacuum sealer will not work?

Not exactly vacuum sealed, but can be heat sealed and then the notch at the top can tear off and customer can reseal with the zip lock. Anybody tried this as a coffee packaging option?

$11 for 50 bags is .22 per bag, I may try it.
