Hi,
I purchased a De Longhi Coffee Machine (Etam 29.660) just before Christmas and everything is going fine with it but I am rather confused about some of the things they say in the manual especially with regards to measurements etc.
It refers to a Doppio + which I understood to be a double espresso but the machine dispenses well over 60ml of coffee; it refers in the manual to a "standard" coffee (I assume they mean a standard espresso) as being 60ml but I thought an espresso was 30ml. A short coffee is stated to be 40ml which is more than a standard espresso at 30ml.
It also refers to long coffee and extra long coffee and when it makes those it seems to perform differently to a standard coffee.
Does anyone else have this machine and can they explain why the differences? The reason i'm trying to get my head round it is so I know what glasses to buy for the coffee the machine dispenses.
These images of the manual might help;

Thanks in advance to any one who can help.
