I remember this one! I only get to see Portlandia once in awhile when my satellite service has the IFC channel on free preview for the month. I love to see Fred in a skirt. I think Fred and Carrie are at their best when they change gender roles. Hilarious.

I really wonder what people who live in Portland make of this show. Do they see the love and humor in it? Or is it offensive?

I've read from blogs of people from Portland that the only people who get offended are the people they imitate on the show. Everyone else thinks it reeks of truth representing just some from Portland; they are not offended and think it's pretty funny because of how true some of them are. How accurate that is, I don't know.
