We have bought an older La Spaziale S5 EK compact. Works well on manual dosage but I cannot find any info on how to set those nice auto dosage buttons or even how to enter the progrmming mode. One would think the downloadable manual would mention this, but no. Any help?

I looked at the manual online and each group should have 4 preset buttons and a manual button.
Try this:
Press and hold the manual button on the left group for 5 seconds.
The lights will flash indicating the machine is in program mode.
Program EACH dosage button by brewing the amount you want. (ex: 24 sec extraction time for single espresso)
Press the same button to stop brewing.
When finished hold the manual button again for about 5 seconds.
Lights will flash indicating you're back to normal function mode.
If that works, the right group should be automatically programmed from that.
If it didn't work, try the right group first. If it works, then that should automatically program the left group.
