Start-Up coffee Shop Financials

Good day all! I've ready many posts on this site and want to thank you for all your information and tips! My question is relating to startup costs, can you please share apprx what type of capital will be required for 6months of operation? Im in process of lease negotiations the cafe will be about 950sqft and it is one block away from a large university, so with proper marketing and high quality product and reasonable prices i hope to break even within 6months.

lease w/ nnn will run me about 3500monthly...
i'm interested in other expenses? how much did you spend on fixtures? and other expenses that you only begin to see once your in business? Also i'm planning on leasing the equip first to reduce startup costs and will have warrnty support (good idea?)

You are asking a very vague question. You can pay $300 for a chair or go to your local junk yard and find your chairs for a song. The point is it all depends on how you envision your shop and how much you can afford to spend. I have seen shop nailed together for less than 40K, and it shows, and I have seen super duper expensive place costing over 300k to construct which is no guarantee for success.

As far as other expenses once you are in, what are your menu items?
