He was thinking Keurig, I said no. Suggestions on something else?

With an adequate 12 v. to 110 v. inverter, what would be wrong with a Kuerig Mini or Mini Plus? It's relatively small and, when not in use, there's no internal water to worry about "sloshing" around... ...or am I missing something?

For the money, the Roadpro does look like it would be worth a try - especially when it's already hooked up for 12 v. operation.

Whoops - just read the reviews for the Roadpro at the Amazon site. Not many happy campers...

Played with this a few years ago...pretty cool little espresso maker!Handpresso

Wow! Thank you for this link. I never something like this ever existed. Have you tried this? Is the coffee still good? I mean, compared to the traditional coffee maker.

I agree with Roadpro 12-Volt Car Pot, I think it will suitable for this cae. However, you can learn from many customer reviews at amzon.com before your decision.

I agree with you, this one seems very practical to use, I thought that only manual models exist. So I can take it with me easily and make a coffee anywhere very simply.

I would go for that Makita rechargeable thing. I mean if the truck driver doesn't have access to hot water at all, then something like that is the only option. If hot water is there - dozens of options like the mentioned Nanopresso or Aeropress?
